I have been working in wellness since 2017. I am a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher and a Certified Circuit Trainer through the Yoga Alliance, as well as a trained Stretch Therapist through StretchLab and NASM. I'm currently pursuing my Personal Training and Health Coach certifications. I created this business, The Travel Yogini LLC, in 2020. I aspire to offer yoga and other holistic retreats and experiences.
I was raised on the south side of Chicago and have been drawn towards fitness most of my life, starting with an interest in helping those around me, that soon turned into a lasting career. While serving 7 years in the United States Air Force Reserves, I was the Physical Training Leader for my unit. My passion grew as I took different opportunities and explored holistic fields like meditation, breath-work, sound therapy and many more. I was initially drawn to wellness because I enjoy the way it makes others feel great about themselves and in their personal abilities. I promote healthy living through stretch, movement, and breath. I try to start everyday with mindfulness and light mediation or affirmations.
My word of advice to others is to prioritize your own needs. I always say “Sometimes being selfish is self-care.” In the future, I really hope to create more wellness programs and events for my clients!
My services can be broken down into 2 categories: Individual and Corporate Wellness. To serve both, I have virtual and in-person options. I design wellness programs that are informative and interactive. Most services will take place on-site, but others via Zoom, email, and sometimes at scheduled locations. I also offer team outings, bonding experiences, and Wellness Retreats. My services are ideal for employers that want to give their employees more resources, and employees that want more balance in their daily routines - or anybody who wants holistic alternatives! I use a massage table and other relaxing tools to help guide you through different movements and deeper postures.
